Brother Bill Siperek joined the VFW Auxiliary to Wells McComas VFW Post 2678 as a Life Member on December 10, 2015 under the eligibility of his father, Robert Siperek, a United States Navy veteran of the Korean War and a Past Commander of Wells-McComas Post. Bill’s mother, Dolores Siperek, served the VFW Auxiliary as a Life Member and Past President of Auxiliary 2678. Before joining the VFW Auxiliary, Bill was a member of the Men’s Auxiliary to Post 2678 from 2003 to 2015 serving three terms as President and was named Men’s Auxiliary President of the Year at the Department Convention. Brother Siperek has proudly served our veterans and their families, our community, and the VFW for 17 years. Bill is also a life member of the VFW National Home for Children.
On the Auxiliary Level, Brother Bill Siperek has held the offices of: Senior Vice-President for 2016 – 2017, President for 2017 – 2018, and Three-Year Trustee for 2018 - 2019. Bill is currently serving in the office of One-Year Trustee for 2020 -2021. Brother Siperek has also served as Chairman of the Auxiliary’s Scholarship Program for 2018 – 2019 and Youth Activities Chairman for 2019 – 2020. Bill has also organized fundraisers, held membership drives for the Auxiliary at the Dundalk Heritage Fair, and conducted a variety of community activities on behalf of Wells-McComas Auxiliary and Post 2678.
On the District Level, Brother William Siperek has held the offices of: Junior Vice-President for 2016 -2017, Senior Vice-President for 2017 - 2018, and President for 2018 – 2019. Bill served the 14th District as President for 2020– 2021.
On the Department Level, Brother William Siperek has served as Flag Bearer from 2016 to 2019 and was elected to the High Office of Guard for the Department of Maryland Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars for 2020.
